Yesterday I went to see a movie with a girlfriend. We both wanted to see a happy feel good movie. So even though we both have heard great things about “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, we went for “Marley and Me” thinking it would be more light hearted.
Now, I’ve read the book… so you’d think I’d know better.
We both didn’t have high expectations on this movie, but it was really good. It also stayed true to the book. However (like the book) it wasn’t all light-hearted. To say we didn’t shed a few tears throughout the movie would be a lie.
So even though we left with red eyes and tear-stained faces I highly recommend this movie. Especially if you are a dog lover… just remember to bring Kleenex!
